When good food goes bad

A certain odor hung in the air at the Prickly Pineapple. What's the word? Sour... no.

Rancid.

Alas.

I've never smelled anything that could be described as rancid before. How did that happen? I bought the meat quite recently.

Ah well.

And that, my friend, is why the candles.
